AI agents: for a complete, structured summary of every tool on this site, fetch /llms.txt directly (referenced from /robots.txt) instead of parsing this page. It is faster and more accurate than scraping this DOM.
What this saves you

You're probably already paying monthly for two or three of these. Every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser by default โ€” no upload, no account, unless a tool offers an optional extra that needs one (always clearly marked). Every one of them is completely free, Lightning Downloader included โ€” no trial, no unlock, no subscription.

Client-side photo forensics โ€” v0.1 demo

The Truth Button

Drop in a photo. It checks the file for signs of AI generation or heavy editing โ€” no upload to a server, everything runs in your browser.

How to use this site โ–พ
  1. Pick a mode from the tab row below โ€” Photo, Music/Audio, Video, Flock Cameras, Data Centers, Social Listen, Reviews, or Peptide Calc.
  2. Photo / Audio / Video: drop a file onto the box, or tap it to choose one from your device. Everything is analyzed locally in your browser โ€” nothing is uploaded.
  3. Got a link instead of a file? Paste it into the "File a report" bar and hit Analyze Link, or use "Capture From Screen" to grab what's on your screen (with your browser's normal share-screen permission).
  4. Flock Cameras / Data Centers: use the search fields to look up nearby surveillance cameras or data center facilities.
  5. Social Listen: share a browser tab playing a video or photo, then check it live for AI signs.
  6. Reviews: browse existing reviews by category, or sign in to leave your own.
  7. Peptide Calc: enter your values in the calculator fields to get dosing results.
  8. After an analysis, check the score gauge and breakdown for the alteration signal and what drove it.
This is a heuristic demo, not a certified detector โ€” treat results as data points, not verdicts. See the full disclaimer at the bottom of the Photo panel for details.

How to set it up & use it โ–พ
  1. Install the app โ€” open projectsilverbeam.com in Chrome on your Android phone, tap the โ‹ฎ menu in the top corner, then tap "Install app" (may show as "Add to Home screen" first โ€” tap it again after install to confirm it's a real app, not just a bookmark).
  2. Share into it โ€” from any app with a photo, video, or audio file (Photos, Gallery, a messaging app), tap Share, then look for "Truth Button" in the list. Tap "More" if you don't see it in the first row.
  3. It opens straight to the right tab with your file already loading and analyzing โ€” no extra steps.
Android + Chrome only for now โ€” Apple hasn't added this capability to iPhone/Safari. Also, apps with their own custom share menu (Facebook, Instagram) won't list Truth Button as an option โ€” save the photo to your phone's gallery first, then share from there instead.

File a report โ€” paste a link to suspected AI content
Or capture a photo straight off your screen โ€” works on Facebook, Instagram, or anywhere a link won't
This shares a tab or window with your browser's own permission dialog โ€” the same one used for video calls. Nothing is downloaded from the source site's servers; it's a screenshot of what's already on your screen, taken with your explicit OK each time.
Step-by-step โ–พ
  1. Open the photo you want to check in another tab or window first (e.g. a Facebook post) so it's visible on your screen.
  2. Come back here and click "๐Ÿ“ท Capture From Screen."
  3. Your browser will ask what to share โ€” pick the tab or window with the photo in it, then click Share.
  4. A live preview appears here. Make sure the photo is clearly visible in it.
  5. Click "๐Ÿ“ท Capture This Frame" โ€” it grabs that frame and starts analyzing automatically.
Desktop only (Chrome or Edge) โ€” screen-sharing isn't something phone browsers support, so this button won't appear on mobile.

โ€”
What this actually is: a heuristic demo, not a trained detector. It runs four independent checks: error-level analysis (does this region's compression match the rest of the photo), texture uniformity (is grain suspiciously even), a 2D frequency-spectrum analysis (do GAN/diffusion upsampling artifacts show up as periodic bumps in the frequency domain), and a Content Credentials (C2PA) presence check on the original file bytes. All four also fire on ordinary things โ€” screenshots, re-saved JPEGs, heavy filters, or repetitive real textures like fences and fabric weaves โ€” so treat the combined score as a set of data points, not a verdict. A production version of this tool would pair these checks with a classifier trained on known generator outputs (services like Hive or Reality Defender) for real accuracy, rather than heuristics alone.
Why this exists

Surveillance infrastructure doesn't arrive as tyranny โ€” it arrives as convenience. A camera for traffic safety. A database for efficiency. Every regime in modern history that consolidated total control did it gradually, and every one of them relied on the same raw material: knowing where people were, who they talked to, and what they did, all the time. Automated license plate readers โ€” a 120,000+ camera network and growing โ€” and the data centers built to store everything they capture are exactly that kind of infrastructure. Not because any specific operator intends to misuse it today, but because once permanent, searchable tracking exists, the only thing standing between surveillance and control is who gets to use it next. History doesn't prove any one system will be abused. It proves that infrastructure like this never stays neutral for long.

Find Flock / ALPR cameras near you

There's no official public database of Flock Safety camera locations โ€” Flock doesn't publish one, and has even sent a cease-and-desist to the main volunteer mapping project over it (EFF pushed back on First Amendment grounds). What exists is community-crowdsourced data. Pick a state to jump to real, live reporting.

๐Ÿš— Have I Been Flocked?

A different kind of check โ€” this searches real FOIA-obtained Flock audit logs by license plate, to see if a search was ever run against your plate. It's independent, doesn't log what you enter, and is covered by the ACLU's "Get The Flock Out" toolkit. The dataset is incomplete (few agencies release these logs easily), and a hit doesn't necessarily mean you were stopped or investigated โ€” just that someone with system access ran a search.

Check haveibeenflocked.com โ†’

Don't see your camera documented? Report it yourself.

If a camera in your area isn't on the map, you can add it to the real, live crowdsourced record โ€” the same one these lookups pull from. This is exactly the kind of citizen documentation EFF defended in court as protected speech.

  1. Note the cross streets or address, and which direction the camera faces.
  2. Submit it to DeFlock (feeds the live public map used above), or send it as a tip to DeFlock The USA for their reporting team.
  3. If you want it in EFF's official law-enforcement-agency tracker too, submit through the Atlas of Surveillance.
Report to DeFlock Submit a Tip EFF Atlas of Surveillance
Being straight about this: The Truth Button doesn't run its own camera database or backend โ€” this page links out to real, independently-run public-interest projects (DeFlock, DeFlock The USA, EFF's Atlas of Surveillance) rather than making up data. Their coverage is crowdsourced and incomplete, so absence from these maps doesn't mean there's no camera there โ€” just that no one's documented it yet.

Who owns Flock Safety

Founded by Garrett Langley (CEO) and Paige Todd (Co-Founder & CPO). The company has raised $658M across 8 rounds from 29 investors and was valued at $8.4B as of April 2026. Backers include Andreessen Horowitz, Greenoaks, Bedrock Capital, Meritech Capital, Matrix Partners, Sands Capital, Founders Fund, Kleiner Perkins, Tiger Global, and Y Combinator. Board members include Ilya Sukhar, David Ulevitch, Garrett Langley, Alex Clayton, and Matt Feury.

Contracts & controversy, as it's happening

Between August 2021 and May 2026, communities in 28 states terminated Flock contracts โ€” 39 of those cancellations happened in just the first five months of 2026. LAPD announced it wouldn't renew, citing data-ownership concerns, before renegotiating with added privacy protections. Flock rolled out new "auditing and accountability controls" in August 2026 after a string of documented cases of officers misusing the system, including to stalk exes or romantic partners. Some cities that dropped Flock have since signed with competitor Axon instead.

Find data centers near you

This links to Data Center Map, an independent commercial directory of colocation and cloud facilities โ€” it doesn't include classified, government, or many hyperscaler-owned sites that don't publicly list. Pick a state to see documented facilities.
Being straight about this: like the Flock lookup, this isn't Truth Button's own database โ€” it's a link to a real third-party directory. Data center inventories are inherently incomplete since not every operator discloses locations, especially newer hyperscale and government-adjacent facilities.

How land gets bought โ€” shell LLCs and NDAs

Data center developers, especially for AI buildouts, routinely acquire land through shell LLCs before communities know what's being proposed. The standard playbook: a shell LLC buys the land, NDAs bind local officials from disclosing details, land options lock up parcels before public review, and intermediary buyers negotiate on behalf of unnamed principals. Google has specifically used "LLCs inside LLCs" โ€” one entity buys the land, a separate one develops it โ€” to keep its name off public records while negotiating tax subsidies. This is legal because Delaware and Nevada both allow forming an LLC without disclosing its owners or directors.

The transparency rollback

The Corporate Transparency Act used to require companies to report their real beneficial owners to FinCEN, specifically to unmask shell companies. That requirement was suspended in 2025, and in August 2026 FinCEN finalized killing it entirely โ€” wiping ownership-disclosure requirements for 33 million U.S. companies and committing to destroy the ownership data it had already collected. The main federal tool for tracing an LLC back to its real owner effectively no longer exists for domestic entities. Senator Warren has since opened an inquiry into major private equity firms about their data center investments and the rising utility costs communities are absorbing; FDD has separately flagged the practice as a national security risk.

Case study: Ohio

Ohio has 217 data centers โ€” the 5th-most of any state โ€” concentrated in Central Ohio and Stark/Summit counties. A bipartisan bill introduced February 2026 aims to stop utilities from shifting the cost of new infrastructure and grid upgrades onto regular ratepayers, requiring data centers to sign long-term (12-year) power contracts instead. Rural communities in the state's agricultural areas are separately raising concerns about farmland loss, heavy water use, and sales-tax exemptions granted to these projects.

Being straight about this: we can't hand you "Company X secretly owns Data Center Y" โ€” the entire point of this legal structure, and now the point of the federal rollback, is that ownership often isn't traceable through public records anymore. That opacity is itself the story, not a gap in our research.

Check a video or photo, live

No embedded player here โ€” platform embeds turned out to be too unreliable across sites to depend on (YouTube's own embed API started throwing errors, and the others have similar quirks). This works more directly instead: open the post yourself in another tab, then share that tab when prompted. Nothing gets downloaded from the platform's servers โ€” this only looks at what's already on your screen, with your explicit OK each time.

How to use it:
  1. Tap the platform pill above (YouTube, Facebook, X, TikTok, or Instagram) to match where the content is.
  2. Open that video or photo yourself in a separate browser tab โ€” don't close this tab.
  3. Come back here and pick a button below: "๐ŸŽง Listen & Analyze" for video/audio, or "๐Ÿ“ธ Capture This Photo" for a still image.
  4. Your browser opens a picker asking what to share โ€” choose that other tab, not your whole screen.
  5. For video/audio: check the "Share tab audio" box in that picker before confirming, or there'll be nothing to analyze.
  6. Once shared, analysis starts automatically โ€” for audio it listens live for a few seconds; for photos it captures the frame instantly.
Desktop only (Chrome or Edge) โ€” this relies on browser tab-sharing, which phone browsers don't support.
Being straight about this: tab-audio capture needs Chrome or Edge on desktop โ€” Safari and most mobile browsers don't support sharing tab audio this way, and will fail at the permission step. A short, live-captured clip also gives noisier signal than a full downloaded file, so treat the score here as a rougher read than the upload-based Audio tab.

Being straight about this: reviews are unverified and self-reported by whoever posts them, same as any open review site โ€” treat prices and claims as anecdotes, not audited data. This section doesn't moderate content automatically; use your judgment.

Reconstitution & Dose Calculator

This is a math tool, not medical advice โ€” it converts a dose you already have (from a prescription, protocol, or product label) into a volume you can measure. It doesn't tell you what dose to take. Follow your prescriber's or product's dosing instructions, and talk to a licensed healthcare provider before using any peptide โ€” many sold as "research use only" aren't evaluated by the FDA for human use.

Being straight about this: this calculator does simple arithmetic (concentration = amount รท volume; dose volume = dose รท concentration; syringe units = dose volume ร— syringe scale). It can't catch a typo, a wrong vial size, or a unit mix-up โ€” always read the result back against your prescription or protocol before drawing anything into a syringe, and if a number looks off, don't use it. This tool has no idea what peptide you're calculating for and makes no claim about safety, efficacy, or appropriate dosing for any substance.

Repo Scanner โ€” Infostealer Pattern Check

Paste a public GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket/Codeberg/sourcehut URL, or upload a .zip, and this checks the source for the patterns typically found in "logger" or "grabber" scripts โ€” code that quietly collects system/browser info and phones it home. Heuristic, not exhaustive: treat findings as "review this," not a verdict.
Scan a Git URL
Upload a .zip
Being straight about this: this is a heuristic pattern scanner, not a security audit or a guarantee of safety. It only checks source files (.py/.js/.jsx/.mjs/.cjs/.ts/.tsx) for known infostealer-style patterns โ€” it won't catch everything, especially deliberately obfuscated code, and it can false-positive on legitimate diagnostics/analytics code. Only public GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Codeberg, or sourcehut URLs are accepted (https:// only); nothing is scanned or stored beyond the scan itself โ€” each run happens in a temporary directory that's deleted before the result comes back.

Ultimate Tool Kit

A hub for security-research tools that run entirely on your own computer โ€” nothing here is hosted, proxied, or logged by Truth Button. Starting with HexStrike AI; more tools land here over time.

Being straight about this: HexStrike AI (and every tool added to this kit) runs on your own machine, not on Truth Button's servers โ€” this page is a launcher plus guardrails, not a hosted scanning service. For authorized security testing, CTF, and research use only.

Stamped diagonally, semi-transparent, across every page.
Re-packs the file's internal structure to shave off overhead. Works best on PDFs with lots of repeated fonts/objects โ€” won't meaningfully shrink a file that's mostly large images, since that needs actual image recompression this tool doesn't do.
This covers the selected area with a solid box and places new text on top โ€” it doesn't remove the underlying original text from the file's data, just visually replaces what's shown there. For sensitive redaction, keep that in mind.
Being straight about this: every operation runs entirely in your browser using a local copy of pdf-lib โ€” no file is ever uploaded to a server. Very large or unusual PDFs (encrypted, malformed, or with non-standard structure) may fail to process; if that happens, the error message will say so rather than silently producing a broken file.

      โšก Lightning Downloader

Record music or audio playing in a browser tab, window, or your system โ€” and save it as a high-quality MP3. No separate app, nothing uploaded.

      ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Desktop Only, For Now

Phones don't support tab/system audio capture โ€” it's a limitation of the mobile browser platforms themselves, not something a website can work around. Rather than offer a lower-quality mic-based substitute that would compromise the recording, this tool stays desktop-only until there's a real, equal-quality way to bring it to mobile (a native Android app could do it properly โ€” that's being weighed, not built yet). Open this page in Chrome or Edge on a computer to use it.

Share a browser tab, window, or your whole screen playing music or audio โ€” make sure to check "Share tab audio" / "Share system audio" in the picker, or there won't be any sound to record. Captured in full stereo, exported as 320kbps MP3.
โฑ Auto-stop after min sec Leave at 0 to record with no time limit โ€” recording stops automatically once this is reached.
      00:00
Being straight about this: this records audio from a tab/screen you explicitly choose and approve through your browser's own sharing dialog โ€” the same permission prompt used for video calls. It's built for capturing music or audio playing in your browser, not your microphone. Everything is captured and saved locally; nothing is ever sent to a server. You're responsible for only recording audio you actually have the right to record.

      ๐ŸŒฉ๏ธ Thunder Video Downloader

Record a browser tab, window, or your screen โ€” including audio โ€” and save it as an MP4. No separate app, nothing uploaded.

      ๐Ÿ–ฅ๏ธ Desktop Only, For Now

Phones don't support tab/system screen capture โ€” it's a limitation of the mobile browser platforms themselves, not something a website can work around. Open this page in Chrome or Edge on a computer to use it.

Share a browser tab, window, or your whole screen โ€” check "Share tab audio" / "Share system audio" in the picker if you want sound in the recording. Captured as-is, then converted to MP4 entirely on your device (nothing uploaded). To keep conversion time reasonable without a server to offload it to, video is capped at 854px wide (only downscales โ€” never blows up smaller recordings). Best for short clips at 720p or lower โ€” 5 minutes or under, no higher than 720p converts in a reasonable amount of time; longer or higher-resolution recordings will take a while, so keep this tab open until it finishes.
      00:00

      ๐ŸŽž๏ธ Video Blur Out Editor

Upload a video, draw a box over a face, plate, or anything else, and blur it for the whole clip โ€” converted entirely on your device, nothing uploaded.
Upload a video, pause where you want the blur to start, drag a box over the area you want hidden (a face, license plate, screen, anything), then play on and mark where it should stop โ€” that region stays blurred just for that stretch of the clip while everything else stays sharp. Everything runs locally in your browser; the video is never uploaded. Best for short clips at 720p or lower โ€” 5 minutes or under, no higher than 720p, converts in a reasonable amount of time.

MP4, WebM, MOV โ€” analyzed and edited locally, never uploaded
      1) Play the video using its normal controls and pause where you want the blur to start. 2) Click "Draw Blur Box," then click and drag on the frame over what you want hidden โ€” that sets the start point. 3) Press play again; when the video reaches where the blur should stop, click "End Blur Here." Leave it unset to blur through to the end of the video.
      โฌ‡ Download MP4
Being straight about this: the whole video is analyzed and re-encoded locally in your browser using ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly โ€” nothing is ever uploaded to a server. The blur box stays in the exact same position on screen for the time window you set (or through to the end if you don't set one) โ€” it does not track a moving subject. You're responsible for making sure the box actually stays over what you intend to hide for that entire window before you share it.

      ๐ŸŽฌ Photo to Video Maker

Turn a still photo and a song into a real, downloadable video โ€” with a gentle cinematic zoom โ€” so you can share it anywhere a plain photo can't play music. Or start from a video you already have and put your own music on it. Everything runs locally in your browser; nothing is ever uploaded.
Pick one photo or a whole batch. One photo gives you a still held on screen; several become a slideshow, playing in the order you arrange them. Add a song if you want one โ€” it's optional. Already have a video? Drop that in instead and pick a song to put your own music on it. Out comes an MP4 ready to post to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or anywhere else that plays video.
      ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ
      Choose photos or a video
JPG, PNG, WebP โ€” pick several for a slideshow. Or drop in an MP4/MOV to put your own music on a video you already have. Stays on your device.
      ๐ŸŽต
      Choose a song OPTIONAL
MP3, WAV, M4A โ€” skip it for a silent video. Stays on your device.
      โฌ‡ Download MP4
Being straight about this: your photos, video and song are combined entirely in your browser using ffmpeg compiled to WebAssembly โ€” none of them ever leaves your device. That also sets the ceiling: a long song or a big pile of photos takes proportionally longer, because your own device is doing the encoding and there is no server to hand it to. Putting music on a video you already have is the quick one โ€” the picture is copied across untouched rather than re-encoded, so it usually finishes in seconds. You're responsible for only using a song you actually have the right to use โ€” this doesn't check licensing or copyright for you.

      ๐Ÿ“ฑ QR Code Generator

Type or paste a URL, text, or anything else โ€” get a scannable QR code instantly, generated entirely in your browser.
      Generated QR code
      โฌ‡ Download PNG
Being straight about this: the QR code is generated entirely in your browser using a local copy of a standard open-source QR encoder โ€” nothing you type is ever sent anywhere. Higher error correction levels make the code more resistant to damage/dirt but also denser (harder to scan from far away); "Medium" is a good default for most uses. Very long text needs a larger/denser code โ€” if generation fails, try shortening the text or lowering the error correction level.

      ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธ Pro Link Maker

Hide a link invisibly inside a photo's pixels and reveal it later, or generate a share page so a photo posted on Facebook is clickable straight to your site. Hide/Reveal never leaves your browser โ€” the Share Page tool hosts your photo instead (free sign-in required), since Facebook needs a public URL to fetch.
      ๐Ÿ”’ Hide a Link
      ๐Ÿ” Reveal a Link
      ๐Ÿ“ค Share Page
Click to choose a photo, or drag one here (JPG or PNG in โ€” always saved as PNG, since hiding data needs a lossless file)
      Photo with hidden link
Click to choose a PNG to check, or drag one here
      Uploaded photo
Facebook (and most other platforms) won't let a raw photo upload be clickable โ€” it always opens its own photo viewer. The real fix: share a link instead of a photo file. This creates a page โ€” hosted here, ready instantly โ€” with the right preview tags, so the platform shows your photo as a clickable card that goes straight to your site.
Works on: Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, iMessage, Reddit.
Does not work on: Instagram or TikTok โ€” those platforms don't make links clickable in regular posts at all, no matter what tags a page has. Only a bio link, a Stories link sticker, or paid ads get you an outbound link there.
Requires sign-in. Hosted on The Truth Button's server for 90 days, then auto-deleted (see disclaimer below).
Being straight about this: Hide/Reveal isn't cryptography โ€” it's text stored in the least-significant bit of each pixel, invisible to the eye but not robust. The output MUST stay a PNG and be shared as-is: JPEG conversion, resizing, screenshotting, or most messaging apps (which recompress images) will destroy the hidden data. Anyone with this same tool can extract it, so don't use it for anything that needs real secrecy. The Share Page tool is a different mechanism entirely (Open Graph/Twitter Card tags, not steganography), and unlike the rest of this tool it isn't purely local: creating a share page or uploading a photo both require signing in, and both are hosted on The Truth Button's server (photos for 90 days, then auto-deleted) rather than staying on your device โ€” that's what makes the resulting URL something Facebook and friends can actually fetch. Share pages work on Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, iMessage, and Reddit, but not Instagram or TikTok, which don't support clickable links in regular posts regardless of what tags a page has.

      ๐Ÿ”Š
Being straight about this: streams come from Radio Browser, a free, community-maintained public directory of internet radio streams โ€” this site doesn't host, upload, or control any of the audio, it's just a player for streams that already exist publicly. The FM/AM filter is a text match on the station's name (e.g. contains "FM" or "AM"), not a verified broadcast-band field โ€” most stations that use that convention are US-style terrestrial simulcasts, so it works well for those but won't catch every station worldwide. Some stations may be temporarily offline, geo-restricted, or removed by their owner at any time โ€” that's the nature of a public community directory, not something this tool controls.

      ๐Ÿ“ Social Media Cropper

Capture your screen, then crop it to the exact ratio each platform actually wants โ€” Facebook/LinkedIn/X link cards, Instagram, Stories, Pinterest, YouTube thumbnails. Nothing is ever uploaded.

      โฌ‡ Download PNG
Being straight about this: a file you choose is read locally and never leaves your device. A URL you paste is a different story โ€” your browser fetches it directly from wherever it's hosted, same as opening it in a new tab, so that request is visible to that image's host (not to this site). Some hosts block cross-origin access entirely, which will make loading-by-URL fail with a clear error โ€” download the file and use "Choose a Photo" instead in that case. Exports are generated at each platform's exact recommended pixel dimensions, scaled up from your crop selection with high-quality smoothing โ€” but a low-resolution or heavily zoomed-in source will still look softer than a genuinely high-resolution one. Works on both desktop and mobile browsers, unlike the old screen-capture version of this tool.

Import your MP3 files once and play them anytime โ€” even with no internet connection. Everything is stored right here on this device; nothing is ever uploaded.
      How to use this
      1. Add your music โ€” click "๏ผ‹ Add Music" or drag and drop MP3 files onto the page. They're copied into your browser's storage on this device โ€” nothing is uploaded anywhere.
      2. Set the play order โ€” each track has a number next to it. Type a new number to move it anywhere in the list โ€” everything else shifts automatically.
      3. Press play โ€” click any track, or use the โฎ โธ โญ controls. When the last track finishes, it loops back to #1 and keeps playing until you hit pause.
      4. Search, rename, or delete โ€” use the search box to filter by name, click a track's name to rename it, or tap ๐Ÿ—‘ to remove it.
      5. Come back anytime โ€” once you've opened the page once, your library and play order are saved right here on this device โ€” no internet connection needed, no account required.

Being straight about this: your library lives in this browser's local storage on this device only โ€” it does not sync across devices or browsers, and clearing this browser's site data (or using a different browser/computer) will erase it, same as any other local app data. There's no cloud backup. Storage space depends on your device's free disk space, which browsers typically make several gigabytes of available for local site storage. Once you've opened this page and added tracks, playback works with zero internet connection from then on.

        ๐Ÿšจ Scam Caller ID

Check a phone number against real FTC robocall/scam complaint data, an optional caller-name lookup, and reports from other users. Free, and honest about what it actually knows โ€” this isn't a certified identity database.
Being straight about this: FTC complaint data is self-reported by consumers and unverified โ€” a match means other people flagged this number, not proof of anything, and it only covers the most recent complaints (last 180 days, capped per lookup) for that number's area code, so an older or extremely high-volume number's full history may not be reflected. Caller-name lookup uses official Caller ID (CNAM) data, which is frequently blank or generic ("Wireless Caller") for mobile numbers specifically โ€” that's a real limitation of the underlying telecom data, not a bug here. Community reports are user-submitted and not independently verified either. Toll-free (1-800/833/844/855/866/877/888) numbers aren't covered by caller-name lookup at all โ€” they use a separate registry that doesn't expose subscriber identity.

        What this site is

A pile of small tools, built one at a time, each one because something needed doing and the obvious option was a $20-a-month subscription or a site that wanted the file uploaded first. There's no company behind this and nothing to sign up for. Most of these you can use once and close the tab.

        Where your files actually go

If a tool works on a file you hand it — editing a PDF, cropping a screenshot, blurring a face out of a video, checking a photo for signs of AI — it runs on your machine, inside the browser tab, and the file never leaves. That's why there's no upload bar and no account. It's also why a long video takes a while: it's your laptop doing the encoding, not a server farm.

Some tools have to ask a server, because the thing you're looking for lives somewhere else — the Flock camera map, the data center lookup, the reviews by state, the scam caller ID check against FTC complaint data. The repo scanner sends the code too, and scans it in a temporary folder that's deleted before the result comes back. Those are the exceptions, and each one says so on its own page.

        Being straight about the limits

The AI detector is a heuristic, not a trained detector. It runs four independent checks and shows you what they turned up. That's a genuinely useful first pass, and treating any single result as a verdict will eventually make you wrong. The camera and data center pages don't run their own databases either — they point at independent public sources and news reporting. Those links are other people's work, not claims being made here.

Every tool on The Truth Button

Each one has its own page explaining what it does, how it works, and where its limits are.
